CZECHOSLOVAK MATHEMATICAL JOURNAL publishes original research papers of high scientific quality in mathematics. Although under a new title, the present journal is the continuation of the renowned Časopis pro pěstování mathematiky a fysiky founded in 1872. The publishers' intention to continue and maintain the tradition of our old journal is emphasized by the fact that the numbering of the volumes has not been changed, e.g. 54(129). The journal is published quarterly in issues containing 288 pages each. Manuscripts of papers intended for publication should be prepared according to the instructions and submitted through the electronic Journal System.
The journal is indexed and abstracted by the Science Citation Index Expanded (SciSearch) and the Journal Citation Reports/ScienceEdition of Thomson Reuters. Its impact factor as of 2010: IF 0.265.
